
BNP will introduce allowance for unemployed if it comes to power: Tarique Rahman
BNP will introduce special allowances for educated unemployed people if it comes to power, said the party’s acting chairman Tarique Rahman.
He said that if BNP comes to power, the youth will be developed as entrepreneurs. The country’s profile in the international market will also increase through the export of their products. In addition, special assistance will be ensured for farmers by modernizing agriculture.
Tarique Rahman spoke at a 31-point training workshop on Wednesday (April 23) evening, virtually connecting with BNP leaders in Rangpur, Nilphamari and Syedpur. He said these things during the training workshop.
The acting chairman of BNP said that an invisible opponent is conspiring against BNP, who is gradually becoming visible. They are the ones who are spreading propaganda against the party. However, party leaders and activists must unite to counter these conspiracies.
He said, we do not want the politics of revenge. However, the implementation of the 31 points will be the real answer to the oppression and torture. We want to respond to the torture that has been done to me, my mother, my brother not through revenge, but through the implementation of the 31 points.
Tarique Rahman said, in the recent discussions, it is seen that the demands of the marginalized people are in line with the 31 points. Now, these must be effectively implemented to gain the trust of the people.
He alleged that the government has used religion and ideology to divide the people. We will unite as Bangladeshis, we want to build a harmonious society by forgetting religious differences.
Regarding employment, the acting chairman of BNP said that about 3 crore people are unemployed in the country. Development is not possible without creating employment opportunities for them. If BNP comes to power, planned initiatives will be taken in these areas.
Tarique Rahman also said that BNP will involve academicians, journalists, lawyers and other acceptable people of the society who are outside politics in national development.
BNP Joint Secretary General Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie, Training Secretary Rasheda Begum Hira, BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council member Ismail Zabiullah and former Chhatra Dal General Secretary Iqbal Hossain Shyamal were present at the inaugural ceremony of the workshop.
District BNP President Alamgir Sarkar presided over the workshop organized at Rangpur Shilpakala Academy. District BNP Organizing Secretary Shefaul Jahangir Alam Shepu moderated the program. About 500 leaders and activists participated in it.
BNP Publicity Secretary Sultan Salahuddin Tuku, Organizing Secretary Asadul Habib Dulu, Deputy International Affairs Secretary Rumin Farhana, Mass Education Secretary Morshed Hasan Khan, among others, also spoke at the event.
