EB Chhatra Shibir’s Iftar Mahfil-2025 held
The Iftar Mahfil-2025 was held in honor of the members at the initiative of the Bangladesh Chhatra Shibir EB branch at the Islamic University of Kushtia (EB).
The Iftar Mahfil was held at the Waliullah-Al Muqaddas auditorium adjacent to the campus on Sunday (March 2).
The event was held with the members of the EB branch of the Bangladesh Chhatra Shibir EB branch under the chairmanship of Md. Mahmudul Hasan, President of the Bangladesh Chhatra Shibir EB branch, and moderated by Secretary Yusuf Ali.
President Md. Mahmudul Hasan said, “The holy month of Ramadan is the month of fasting, the month of achieving piety. In this month, Allah Almighty revealed the great book Al-Quran, the certificate of salvation of mankind from the Lawhe Mahfuz. This Quran contains all the guidance of human life. The Quran is freedom, the Quran is logic. Peace in this world and salvation in the hereafter lie in the proper following and implementation of the Quran in all aspects of human life, family life, social and state spheres.”
Calling upon the student community, he said, “Let us read the Quran, understand the Quran and enlighten ourselves with that light to utilize the month of the Quran properly. Let us all become the beloved servants of Allah by being strong in the name of taqwa. In order to engrave our names on the Rayyan Gate of Paradise, let us devote ourselves to worship throughout the month of Ramadan through Qiyamul Layl along with fasting properly. May Paradise be our ultimate destination at the end of the day.”
