4 more children die of measles symptoms in 24 hours
In the last 24 hours, 4 children have died with measles symptoms in the country. At the same time, 1,057 new people have been found to have measles and its symptoms.
This information was given in the regular report on measles by the Directorate General of Health Services on Sunday (June 28). The notification said that although four children died with measles symptoms, no child died due to confirmed measles.
With this, a total of 619 children have died with measles symptoms in the country since March 15. So far, 93 children have died due to measles. A total of 712 children have died during this period with measles and measles symptoms.
In the last 24 hours, 116 children have been infected with measles, and the number of patients with measles symptoms is 941. During this period, 889 children have been newly admitted to the hospital, and 865 children have been discharged from the hospital.
In addition, since March 15, the total number of suspected measles patients is 99,207, and the number of confirmed measles patients is 11,710. Of these, a total of 82,844 patients have been admitted to the hospital, of whom 79,152 have been discharged and returned home.
