This update will be available in the latest beta updated version 2.25.20.17 of this messaging app owned by Meta.
How the feature will work
Until now, entering a group could show whether someone was typing or not. Even if multiple users typed, that update was available. But now you can see who is currently typing a message in a group chat from the chat list. However, if more than one user is recording a message, this feature will not be known.
In this case, WhatsApp will only show the name of one user, as it already does. So even if the typing update is received, users will still have the old experience in voice recording. However, this update will only apply to group chats. In addition, it will not be available to iOS users right now.
