Xefer takes a swipe at the mockers
A few days ago, singer and actress Xefer Rahman, known for her ‘Jhumka’, faced a lot of criticism after performing at a concert titled ‘Bangladesh First’ at Manik Mia Avenue. As soon as some parts of her performance were shared on social media, trolling started.
Many people objected that Xefer was more focused on dancing than singing. Not only that, some are also mocking her by calling her an auto-tune artist.
Finally, Xefer responded to the criticism. In a Facebook status, he said, “Looking at the news, it seems like I danced alone at the concert. No, brother, I didn’t dance alone. Millions of people danced with me, even sang along, I don’t know why that video isn’t in your news.”
Expressing gratitude to everyone for the spontaneous participation of the audience in the ‘Bangladesh First’ concert, Xefer said, “I am truly grateful to all of you. The Bangladesh First concert was the biggest concert in my life so far. There will be many more concerts to sing and dance with you.”
