Youth gangs to be listed; illegal weapons not recovered in district – SP Rakib

A press conference was held with the new Superintendent of Police of Chandpur district.

This exchange meeting was held in the conference room of the Chandpur Superintendent of Police office organized by the district police on September 20 (Friday) at 4 pm.

New Superintendent of Police of Chandpur district, Muhammad Abdur Rakib PPM, said in his speech, “I wish for forgiveness of those who were martyred in the anti-discrimination movement, and I also wish for good health and long life for those who were injured in the movement.”

He said, a new Bangladesh has been formed in the anti-discrimination student movement. 30 people were martyred in this movement in Chandpur.
He paid deep respect to all. Later he said, proper use of social media, separate database of juvenile gangs will be created and appropriate legal action will be taken against them.

He also discussed the movement of shiftwari for auto rickshaw movement to decongest the city. As an example, he said, if there are 60-90 people in a room of 20 people, they cannot sit comfortably there. There will be complications. Therefore, he said that quick work will be done to solve the autorickshaw problem in the city.

He also said that Chandpur will be drug free. Quick action will be taken against drugs. Also there will be complete zero tolerance against passport police verification and police clearance and GD. For this reason, strict action will be taken against anyone who demands any kind of money, no matter who he is.

Not a single weapon was recovered from those who used illegal weapons in the district. So operation is going on to recover illegal weapons. Also journalist brothers will inform me about any problem and help to solve the problem. He ended his speech with this.
