A study by the Ministry of Education found that the number of students in science groups for both SSC and HSC levels in Bangladesh was declining year after year.
The reason was the fear of science and mathematics among the students. The government has created an environment to ensure the participation of Bangladeshi students in the International Mathematical Olympiad to make mathematics more attractive to students.
Meritorious students are taking part in the Maths Olympiad and putting their signature of achievement. In this context, students are becoming more and more motivated towards mathematics education to get good grades in mathematics.
In this way, the fear of the students of Bangladesh towards mathematics has come down a lot. New innovative education systems based on science and technology are helping students to develop their thinking.
