The evolution of technology in human civilization develops a nation.

STEM education has reduced the tendency to memorize textbooks in the traditional way. The tendency to memorize textbooks can still be noticed in the rural areas of Bangladesh.

If STEM education is made compulsory, its impact will be greatly reduced. For example, the subject of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has been made compulsory for students in all departments of our country.

As a result, today’s students are able to enjoy the benefits of modern education from the old traditional education system. STEM education helps students to become active. Stem solves creative problems.

STEM increases students’ interest in learning something new in practice. STEM education enhances communication skills with one another. Gives students confidence and self-esteem and controls excessive emotions. It enhances logical thinking, creativity and imagination.

The standard of education in Bangladesh has become more modern than before. Among these are innovation programs, new learning technologies, media education programs, digital content preparation and classroom teaching through multimedia. It has increased the interest of secondary and higher secondary students in Bangladesh to study STEM.

A study by the Ministry of Education found that the number of students in science groups for both SSC and HSC levels in Bangladesh was declining year after year.

The reason was the fear of science and mathematics among the students. The government has created an environment to ensure the participation of Bangladeshi students in the International Mathematical Olympiad to make mathematics more attractive to students.

Meritorious students are taking part in the Maths Olympiad and putting their signature of achievement. In this context, students are becoming more and more motivated towards mathematics education to get good grades in mathematics.

In this way, the fear of the students of Bangladesh towards mathematics has come down a lot. New innovative education systems based on science and technology are helping students to develop their thinking.

STEM education has become very popular among the students of public and private universities in Bangladesh.
