Soybean oil is 160 tk per liter
Soybean oil prices have risen again. This time the price of soybean oil has increased by Tk 7 per liter. Now a liter of soybean oil will be sold at 160 BDT. Which was earlier 153 Taka.
The Bangladesh Vegetable Oil Refiners and Vegetable Manufacturers Association announced the new price in a press release on Tuesday (October 19th).
The price of soybean oil has been fixed in consultation with the Commerce Ministry in the wake of rising prices in the international market, the statement said.
According to the new announcement, open soybean oil will be sold at Tk 136 per liter as against Tk 129 so far. Bottled soybean oil will be sold at Tk 160, which was Tk 153 so far. Besides, a five-liter bottle of oil will be available at Tk 760. Earlier, its market value was Tk 728. Bottled palm super oil will be sold at 118 BDT.
Earlier, on October 15, the price of bottled soybean oil was increased by Tk 4. However, the traders said that the price of Tk 4 which was reduced due to corona before Eid-ul-Fitr has been adjusted this time. However, even before that, the price of oil was increased by Tk 9 per liter.
