‘BCL men’ attack students at Dhanmondi

Activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) allegedly swooped on the students when they were enforcing traffic rules at Jigatola intersection in city’s Dhanmondi area on Saturday afternoon.
According to protesters, some students were injured when a number of BCL men attacked them with sticks.
Allegations have it that the BCL men snatched and broke cell phones of some students and pedestrians who were taking photographs and videos of the attack.
