Moushumi, Amit Hasan team up in film “Nayok”
National Film Award winning actress Moushumi pairs up again with popular actor Amit Hasan. They will be appeared in the film Nayok under the direction of Ispahani Arif Jahan. Moushumi and Amit have recently stood before camera at the different shopping places in the capital. The names of Ispahani Arif Jahan duo are mentionable to Moushumi for her film career. Under their direction, Moushumi acted in movies like Bidrohi Bodhu, Mostafa Bhai, Tumi Sundor, Sontrashi Munna, Sukher Swargo. She also acted in their produced and Shafi Uddin Safi directed movie Machine-man. In the film Nayok, Moushumi played the role of Adity who played in role of heroine Adhora’s elder sister in the movie. On January 15, Amit Hasan and Moushumi took part in shooting of the movie. While talking about the film Moushumi said, “Ispahani Arif Jahan are noted directors. They have better understanding in case of work. Amit Hasan is acting against me in Nayok, he is a good actor and has level best intention to perform.” While Amit Hasan said, “I have good relationship with Moushumi. I enjoy working with her. Therefore, there is good reputation of Ispahani Arif Jahan as directors.” Amit Hasan first acted with Moushumi in Nazmul Huda Mintu directed movie Moushumi. Later they acted in several numbers of movies together. Arifa Parvin Moushumi, known by Moushumi, is a Bangladeshi film actress and director, who got the National Film Award for Meghla Akash in 2002. She has acted in over 150 films and made her directorial debut with Kokhono Megh Kokhono Brishti in 2003. Moushumi began working as an actress and singer from an early age. She won the Anonda Bichittra Photo Beauty Contest, which led to appearances in television commercials in the 1990s. She first appeared in the movie Keyamat Thake Keyamat in Bangladesh. In 1996, she took a break from acting and announced her engagement to actor Omar Sani. After six months, she returned to acting. The couple has two children. In September 2013, Moushimi was named a UNICEF goodwill ambassador. Moushumi also runs a production house, Kopotakhsma Cholochitra. She is the associated with Projapoti Cholochitra and she looks after her own foundation, the Moushumi Welfare Foundation. Amit Hasan is a Bangladeshi film actor who was elected secretary general of the Bangladesh Film Actors’ Association in 2015. He was debuted by movie Chetona, directed by Chhotku Ahmed, in 1990. During that time he was performing in the name of Saifur. He was named after Amit Hasan by acting in movie Aamor Shongi, directed by late Alamgir Kumkum. He became successful as a single hero by movie Jyoti, directed by Monwar Khokon. He was debuted as a villain in digital movie Bhalobashar Rong, directed by Shahin-Sumon. He acted in role of Tufan in the movie. He has played different characters in many cinemas with many actresses such as Shabnur, Shabnaz, Moushumi, Shahanaz, Poly, Popy and so on. Alongside Amit has also worked with other actors as Bapparaj, Riaz, Shakib Khan Etc. Among them, he has acted most as a pair with Shabnur in the film industry. Aashar Alo, Premer Somadi, Paglir Prem, Meghla Akash, Hingsha, Shason, Bidrohi Premik, Tumi Shudhu Tumi, Shesh Thikana, Bini Sutar Mala, Ujan Bhati, Soinik are some other notable works of Amit Hasan.
