Ministers concerned over their own security: Anisul
Law Minister Anisul Huq on Tuesday said ministers are a bit concerned over their own security in the wake of recent militant attacks in some western countries as well as Bangladesh.
“There’s little room for the ministers to be sure about their own security following the militant attacks in France and the USA,” the minister said as quoted by UNB.
The Law Minister came up with the remarks while talking to reporters after a meeting with a delegation of the Nepalese Law Commission at the Secretariat.
Anisul said the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has recently sent messages through mobile phones to the ministers to stay alert to fend off any untoward incidents under the circumstances.
Replying to a query, Anisul Huq, however, said the security arrangements for the ministers are enough and that the government is trying to beef up the security of the country’s people.
