3 Uttara policemen suspended
Three policemen of Uttara West Police Station have been suspended for allegedly harassing a businessman and a girl in the city’s Uttara area on Sunday night.
Contacted, Deputy Commissioner (Media) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Maruf Hossain Sarder said the punitive action was taken against the policemen, including sub-inspector Abdur Roof Bahadur, on Monday, UNB reports.
He, however, did not elaborate the incident.
