Minister Syed Mohsin Ali passes away
Social Welfare Minister Syed Mohsin Ali (67) passed away in a cardiac arrest around 9:00am this morning at Singapur General Hospital in Singapur.
Saiyed Mostak Ali, brother of the minister, confirming the matter said the minister was suffering from pneumonia, diabetes and heart related complications.
Acting secretary of the ministry Rupon Kanti Sheel said, “He breathed his last in Singapore at 8.59 am (Bangladesh time).”
A veteran freedom fighter, Syed Mohsin Ali left his wife, three daughters, relatives, party men and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He was an elected lawmaker from Habiganj-3 constituency.
