Bangladeshi actress Nushrat Faria to share screen with Emraan Hashmi!
Bangladeshi film actress Nusrat Faria, who acted in the Bengali film Aashiqui, opposite Ankush, is now going to share screen with Bollywood heartthrob actor Emran Hashmi in the upcoming bollywood film Gawah, The Witness.
Nushrat Faria is also going to be first of its kind to be acted in a Bollywood film from Dhallywood in recent past.
When contacted, Nushrat Faria said to The Daily Sun, “This is the best gift of my birth day. I feel proud to be a part of a Bollywood film.”
Terming it as a great achievement in her career she also said that she got the script around one month ago while she was busy with the shooting of ‘Aashiqui’ in London.
“I liked the script and my character, but I am yet to sign on the dotted line. My role is pivotal to the plot and we have to do a look test for that,” Nusraat said to ‘The Times of India’.
Revealing the plot to CT, director Bishnu Dutta said to ‘The Times of India’, “Emraan is a CBI officer, who quits his job after an accident and starts working as a private detective. Nawazuddin plays a business honcho and Paayel, his wife. She thinks every girl is better looking than her and her husband struggles to handle her tantrums. Ashutosh Rana plays a doctor who tries to treat her but fails.What happens next is what the film is all about. I can’t disclose much about Nusraat’s character now. All I say is that it has shades of grey. Apoorva Joseph, the casting director, helped me get through to Paayel and Nusraat.”
Mithoon will compose the music for the film.
